DESPINA Intell operates this website and the Private Library pilot and is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@despinaintell.com.
What the website collects
The public site does not intentionally use advertising pixels or behavioral analytics. If you use the public DESPINA chat, your text is processed to generate a reply. If you create a DESPINA account, we store your email address, username, a salted password hash and strictly necessary session data. We never store your password in readable form. Private Library stores the files you upload, file metadata, indexing state and the questions you submit there.
Technical delivery data
The hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, request time and requested page to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
Why we use information
Public chat text is used to answer product questions and prevent abuse. Account information is used to authenticate you and keep each library separate. Uploaded files are stored so you can retrieve them; searchable copies and Private Library questions are processed to index your collection and generate source-grounded answers. Technical data is used to operate and protect the service.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell personal information. Public chat text, searchable copies of Private Library documents and Private Library questions are sent server-side to OpenAI for processing. The original upload is stored by our hosting provider. Limited data may also be processed by providers that deliver hosting, security and email. Their infrastructure may operate in more than one country.
Retention and deletion
The site does not intentionally keep a server-side history of public chat conversations. Private Library files and metadata remain until you remove a document or the pilot is closed. Removing a document triggers deletion from the library file store and its OpenAI search copy. Service providers may retain limited request or backup data according to their applicable settings and policies.
Cookies and sign-in
DESPINA does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies. A strictly necessary secure session cookie keeps you signed in and separates your private library from other accounts.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and you may object to certain uses. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
